Maureen Polikoff
Ms. Polikoff received her Masters Degree in Social Work from Connecticut State University in 1986. She has since spent more than 37 years working with individuals and families in community mental health settings, education, the Courts, and private practice. Ms. Polikoff spent over 14 years working directly with the Connecticut and New Mexico Family Courts conducting custody and timesharing assessments, mediations and testimony in divorce, custody, co-parenting and time sharing disputes. She is currently working as a mental health professional in collaboration with New Mexico Guardians Ad Litem (GAL’s). In this role, Ms. Polikoff provides mental health assessments and interventions for parents, designed to assist the GAL’s in their reports and recommendations to the Family Court. Ms. Polikoff was active in the Albuquerque Collaborative Divorce group for 10 years, serving as both divorce coach or child specialist in Collaborative divorce cases.
